Orally Administered ''Peptide A'' Exhibits Anxiolytic Activity in Mice

We found for the first time that low molecular weight peptide A dose-dependently exhibits anxiolytic-like activity after intraperitoneal or oral administration at a dose of 0.1-1 or 0.3-3 mg/kg, respectively, in the elevated plus-maze test in mice.

Creation of a Novel Peptide Endowing Yeasts with Acid Tolerance Using Yeast Cell-Surface Engineering

In this study, authors randomly modified thecell wall by displaying combinatorial random peptides on the yeast cell surface, and by screening, we successfully obtained a novel peptide, Scr35, that endowed yeasts with acid tolerance.
